For the past six or seven years (he’s not entirely sure – and I know exactly how that feels!) David Head, Editor of Recruitment International, has organised a charity golf day in support of the learning disabled charity Link Leisure. This year’s event take place at Woking Golf Club, in Surrey, on Tuesday 2nd October.Despite having a golf addicted husband I don’t understand any of the terminology but apparently teams of 4 or 2 will make a shotgun start at 9.00am, playing to Stableford Rules.The Top 3 teams will each receive individual prizes. There will also be other exciting competitions including hole-in-one, nearest the pin and longest drive. The day includes coffee, tea & bacon butties on arrival. I understand that bacon butties are an essential part of a golf day! Followed by 18 holes of golf on one of the best courses around. Finished off with the Winners Trophy & Medals and then lunch. The winning company will also receive a page editorial profile in Recruitment International.
