Recruitment and HR events roundup for March 2013

This is an overview of the main events (not scheduled training courses or webinars as there are too many – you can view more of these on the UK Recruiter events calendar) in March so you can work out which ones might best suit your needs:

March 5^th

In the morning of the 5^th March Recruitment International are running The RI Audit and Compliance Conference. With the regulations surrounding Auditing and Compliance with the Recruitment Sector constantly changing this is an ideal event to provide you with all the information you need to ensure you are compliant.

March 6^th

The carnival that is #TruLondon is in town on 6^th and 7^th March. Bill Boorman has an utterly packed schedule of tracks – all informal and attendee driven – running over two days. Hold on to your hats and step onboard!

March 12^th

Recruitment International host their second event of the month with The RI M&A Conference. This specially focused event will provide expert advice and guidance on all facets of preparing and selling your business and it will consider what both parties would expect from the transaction

On the afternoon of the 12^th Mike Taylor who is well known for his mobile and social media events is running a Mobile Recruitment Workshop. Full of best practice examples and case studies the workshop has been designed for both corporate recruiters and recruitment agencies, plus other recruitment related businesses that want to mobilise their business.

March 13th

Andy Headworth is running a small group Maximising Social Media Content For Recruitment workshop. This interactive session will be focused on helping recruiters understand how they can use the power of social media content to help them meet their recruitment objectives. If you can’t make this date it’s also running on 1^st May.

14^th March

The Social Media and Recruitment Conference run by the CIPD features insights from “innovators in recruitment who will provide inspiration and practical advice to take back to your organisation”. Sounds excellent!

21^stMarch

Jamie Leonard and Reconverse host one event for recruiters and this one is their annual innovation showcase entitled: Recruitment, But Not As You Know It. For this event, the rule book will be thrown out the window with an aim to give every delegate inspiration to take back to their business and try something imaginative within their hiring process.

During the evening of the 21^st March there is the glittering occasion of the annual Onrec Awards. A lovely opportunity to network with recruitment peers whilst seeing who has won what!
