I have previously commented on my love of conference goodies. However, this is nothing compared to some bloggers. Two American HR bloggers who love their swag are Jessica Miller-Merrell talking about 6 Swag Trends at Conferences Like #SHRM13 and 6 Ideas to Impress Me with Conference Swag and Laurie Ruettimann with her #shrm11 2011 SHRM 63rd Annual Conference & Exposition Swag Video. Is it a bit crass to be so taken by event giveaways or is it a key part of the conference experience? In the run up to our Recruitment Conference I was going to write a blog post to promote our own “thank you bags” and maybe suggest some goodies that are best received. However just before I started I spotted a smashing blog from Hubspot on Event Swag Your Attendees Will Love … and Loathe. Totally agree with mobile phone chargers, umbrellas and nice notebooks!
Obviously you’ll be coming to The Recruitment Conference for the amazing line up of speaker sessions but don’t forget to pick up one of our thank you bags on the way out.
