Last week I took a look at the new Intalex platform. It launched back in October 2013 but it’s only now that they are starting to court publicity. One of the co-founders, Jason Kennedy, spoke at one of our Directors events last year. Intalex is basically a split fee network (although I don’t think they use that terminology anywhere on the site). It’s described as an online trading exchange enabling recruitment firms to trade directly with each other in a new and private market place.
With the demand for talent outstripping the supply in some areas (I refuse to use that terrible ‘war for talent’ phrase) a platform which can enable recruiters to work together to enable to right people to find the right jobs has got to be good. There have been (and still are) other split fee networks but I think the difference with this one will how easy the technology makes it and also how far they have already come in creating a massive network of registered recruiters.

Will be very interested to see if Intalex succeeds where others have struggled. I certainly have high hopes.
