Our first Directors event of 2016 takes place on Thursday 25th February at the RBS Offices. We run four events like this a year and they are a great way for directors of recruitment business to learn from their peers whilst networking in a very informal environment. The events only take you out of the office for a few hours and are priced so that it’s an expense that can easily be justified. We limit numbers to around 60 attendees to ensure it’s not too large that people feel uncomfortable sharing their experiences or striking up a conversation. Featuring real case studies presented by industry peers who’ve been there (and come out the other side), topics can include anything from acquisition and organic growth to joint ventures, partnerships and outside investment. In addition to this, there are generously timed-intervals in which to get involved in both controlled and casual networking sessions, whilst enjoying complimentary beverages and cakes.
The subject for 25th February is Traits of a Successful Recruitment Business. We have a great line-up of speakers:
Thomas Glanfield, CEO, Lawrence Harvey Group. Lawrence Harvey is offcicially one of the fastest growing recruitment companies in country and Tom will be sharing his thoughts on how to build a successful recruitment business.
Steve Carter has almost 30 years of global Staffing Industry experience and will be sharing the Top Five Things Successful Recruiters Do (and three they don’t do!)
Wendy McDougall has over 15 years recruitment experience and has grown a highly successful nice agency from scratch. She will be talking about Predictive Recruitment; How you can implement a business model that helps you identify what parts of your business are crucial to your success, and develop others that are falling behind.
Flora Mewies is an employment lawyer with experience of a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious employment issues. For most, a significant proportion of a business’ success is attributable to its staff and Flora will share her thoughts on the traits business owners should have and how to demonstrate these to successfully manage the business’ key resource.
Still not sure if this event is for you? If you are a Director of a recruitment business and fulfil any of this criteria then it’s a must-attend event:
