In our UK Recruitment Blog of the Year Awards 2016 the winner of the Recruitment Industry Supplier Blog (blimey that’s a mouthful!) is the fabulous Social Talent blog. Social Talent are a second time winner in this hard to judge category; again this year we had a “shortlist” of nearly 50 blogs. The Social Talent blog was established by Jonathan Campbell but is now mostly authored by the rest of his team and covers all range of topics relevant to recruiters – updated with fresh content at least a few times a week
Category sponsor, and judge, Stephen O’Donnell (seen here handing the award to Holly Fawcett and Michael Dunne) said “Perhaps it would be crazy to think otherwise, but the people at Social Talent do much more than walk the walk when it comes to active engagement in social media. Having Social in the name of the company is not just a gimmick, as they very clearly live up to expectations and believe in the power of authentically sharing their knowledge, expertise, and insight, as well as collating and drawing attention to the very best that they discover from a wide range of sources. Almost every single day (and this is very hard to do), new nuggets of blog gold are delivered mostly by Siofra, the Content Marketing Exec. Always informative, often hilarious, and unfailingly useful, the Social Talent blog is a shining example of how organisations can actively demonstrate the human element of their brand.”
These are three of my favourite blog posts they have recently published:
