18 Great Podcasts for Recruiters

I was going to write a juicy blog post listing half a dozen podcasts I really rate.  Then I did a quick google search to check I wasn’t duplicating something already created (I wish more bloggers would do this!!).   So as a result I’m going to link to three fab lists of podcasts other people have written and then add two they seem to have missed out.

Kara Shorthouse – Fire Fish

Kara from Firefish shares 8 Recruitment Podcasts Every Recruiter Should Listen To in which she lists 7 great podcasts and then one from Ricky Gervais. I’d rather poke my own eyes out than listen to him on my walk to work – but each to their own (the other 7 really are good podcasts).

On the LinkedIn Talent Blog I came across 5 Podcasts Every Recruiter Should Listen to which included a full THREE I’d never come across.  All now added to my podcast list!

Over at Social Talent Annalena Morris collated her 6 Podcasts Every Recruiter Should Listen To which is a great list; again including a couple I’d not heard of.

I think that works out to be 16 individual podcasts.

The two others I recommend are:

Air Source

Air Source is a sourcing podcast with occasional live radio events.   Mostly hosted by Katharine Robinson and Andy Mountney.  They do one show a month and even did a special edition from my November event (although I promise that’s not why I like them!)

The Chad & Cheese Podcast

The Chad & Cheese Podcast is hosted by industry veterans Joel Cheesman and Chad Sowash who discuss a wide variety of topics and news stories around recruiting, human resources and employment. Hiring companies and employers tune in weekly for insights from practitioners, vendors, startups and more.  They are very funny and incredibly frank!

If you enjoy a regular podcast please let me know about it.
