Yesterday I had a demo of the HandleSocial.media tool I’ve been hearing lots about. Basically it’s a very clever bit of kit which helps you to increase your reach and engage and attract your relevant audience on social media.
The social media marketing platform is a bit like Hootsuite or Buffer but has tools and functionalities that no one else offers. I’ve got a free trial so I’ll play around a bit more and report back.
These are some of the benefits they discuss in their marketing material:
- Building your brand awareness (and I can totally see how that would work)
- Post to Instagram without needing a mobile app, post to your Instagram story and carousel from your desktop (this one is actually brilliant!)
- Providing a scheduling tool where you can set up a job for the system to post your content throughout the day
- Automatically engaging with followers and potential customers via likes and comments (I’m going to have another play around with this to see how well it works/how much it looks automated)
- Direct messaging all of your followers in one hit (this on Twitter is BRILLIANT – assuming you get your messaging right)
- Recommending the best groups/pages to post to and the best time to post them
- Giving you the ability to interact automatically with customers via a unique response system, allowing you to have numerous replies being filtered dependent on questions asked (I didn’t look at this – but I will as it sounds really powerful)
I’ve not really used Instagram for work but you can use the tool to grow your following and also set campaigns up to target people’s posts based on relevancy by engaging with pre-defined comments. I’m going to give this a go myself.
One of their unique benefits is their relationship with Facebook. Currently when you post to Facebook you are limited to only reaching 10-12% of your audience unless you pay Facebook to sponsor your adverts, however using their system you can post to 45% of your audience as well as be able to direct message all of your followers in one hit which is again something no other company can do.
The system enables you to have as many accounts as you wish for each social media platform and you can give access to as many people in the business as you require for the same monthly cost.
