After nearly twenty years of running events in the recruitment space we’ve introduced a brand new learning and networking symposium. Louise is working with Alex Moyle, an experienced speaker and host of similar events, to bring Inspire Recruitment to life.
The key elements of the Inspire Recruitment events are the excellent networking opportunities, the fast pace of the talks, the fun nature of the get together and the opportunity for personal and professional development.
These informal and entertaining events will see a dozen interesting people, many just like yourself, taking to the stage to inspire you. Some talks will be flippant and amusing, others more intellectually challenging, we’d love to make you laugh out loud during one and ponder the universe with another. However, for sure you’ll find each of the dozen speakers will pack a lot into their five minutes. Here’s what June’s event looked like.
Who will be speaking? Each event will see a new line-up of speakers from many different backgrounds with the aim of inspiring agency and in-house recruiters, as well as HR professionals. June’s event saw this stellar line-up:
Am I the target attendee? Everyone is welcome as long as you are open to networking, broadening your horizons and can behave appropriately during the talks. You don’t have to be a “recruiter” to attend but all sessions will share a focus on recruiting and/or HR. However, it’s likely you’ll be working in an agency environment, a HR professional, vendor the industry or have some connection with the recruitment and hr space.
What’s the format? We’ll start the evening with access to the bar for some networking time; giving you plenty of opportunity to chat with other attendees and the speakers. Then, seats will be taken for our 12 speakers each talking for just five minutes with 20 slides rotating every 15 seconds. No pressure for them then!! After the final talk there’s always the opportunity to prop up the bar for some more. “networking”. Timings will be 5.30 to 7.30pm or 6pm to 8pm depending on the venue.
How much is it to attend? We charge just £10 per ticket for our 2018 Inspire events.
