This week’s google+ hangout was discussing “Are clients stealing your candidates?!” Lisa Jones, rec tech and social media expert, and Carla Murray, Resource Manager at Morrisons, joined Mark Stephens (Technology in Recruitment Alliance and founder of the F10 Group) and Louis Welcomme (Colleague Software) to discuss how recruiters should be dealing with back door placements and clients stealing candidates.
Lisa is a director at Barclay Jones, advising recruiters on the most effective use of recruitment technology and social media to improve their business processes, recruitment and bottom line. Carla is a resource manager at Morrisons supermarkets and deals with direct sourcing and candidate management so both were perfectly placed to discuss this topic with us.

Recruiters; getting your terms of business signed off certainly helps with ensuring that if a client does take a candidate without telling you the process to claim the fee will be a LOT easier. Some companies may feel that candidates sent in without fees agreed are entirely fair game!
