User Review of Bloc Solutions’ PPC recruitment tool

blocWe don’t normally publish “user reviews” or case studies.  However, when Owain Matthews from Bloc Marketing got in touch about their product I thought it might be worth finding a way of sharing the information with the wider recruitment market.  I don’t do any recruitment myself these days so Rebecca Stirling, Marketing & PR Executive of Linea Resourcing said she’d take a look.  Assuming she isn’t Owain’s girlfriend/sister/flat mate this is her impartial review:

The new paid search tool from Bloc Marketing has the potential to revolutionise the recruitment market.

In the era of the job board, recruiters have become heavily reliant on marketing jobs through third party websites. Although this can offer great candidate reach, it also increases competition and prevents candidates from building a relationship directly with your brand. Organic SEO has always been difficult in the recruitment industry, job ads come and go so often it’s almost impossible to get any of them ranking on Google.

Bloc marketing has come up with a solution for this industry-wide issue, which could change talent sourcing for good.

The tool gives recruiters access to the highly relevant Google search market without the use of job boards, minimising competition for top talent, reducing advertising costs and increasing ROI.

How it works

Bloc’s solution works in conjunction with Google AdWords to make sure your job appears at the top of Google for the most relevant searches. The advert Google users will see is completely tailored to their search so if, for instance, someone searched “C# Developer job Cardiff” your job would appear with the title “C# Developer job Cardiff “ in their search results, making them highly likely to click.

For most of us mere SEO mortals, thinking up every search variation for each job we post would be a lengthy and impractical process. By using Bloc’s system, the hard work is done for you; it can even pick up jobs direct from your CRM and remove them when they become inactive.

It’s not often that we come across truly exciting advances in recruitment technology, but this is something we can’t wait to get our hands on!
