When I bought the domain www.recruitmentsfinest.co.uk more than six years ago it was as part of my plans to find a way to celebrate the most outstanding individuals within the recruitment industry. We work in a sector where the stereotype is often reality and where good service and decency are not as commonplace as they should be. However, there are so many exceptional recruiters and agencies who really are offering great service to clients and candidates and setting a high bar for the rest of the industry. This blog is merely an initial sharing of my thoughts – a gateway to further announcements.
Within the next 18 months we will be launching Recruitments Finest; an annual event which will showcase the very best recruitment has to offer. Many of the most deserving of in our industry already receive accolades in the form of recruitment awards (such as the APSCo Awards for Excellence, The Onrec Awards, REC Awards, Global Recruiter Industry Awards, The RI awards and Recruiter Awards for Excellence) and part of the evening celebrations will building upon this with a “Champions League” of industry award winners
We have lots more up our sleeves including an unusual venue, peer-recognition invitations and a unique voting system for the awards. Our on-the-night entertainment will also be completely different and unique.
This has never been done before and it’s a bit scary to announce something whilst still in planning. However, I’m confident no one else really has the right audience to try and steal our thunder! So, I’m open to feedback and suggestions on how you’d like to see this event pan out.
