Why use psychometric testing?
Are you losing new employees within 12 months of placement? How many times is this due to the wrong fit? If you’re a recruitment agency this could mean losing clients as well as placements. If you’re a corporate the cost of a bad placement is as much as three times as the cost to hire. It has been proven that interview alone is not the most reliable method of selection; using psychometric testing will help you make much better people decisions and increase retention levels.
What I offer?
I offer a flexible psychometric assessment service which can be used to assist in the hire of one candidate up to large volume recruitment projects. It is suitable for use from junior roles right up to Board level appointments.
The test used is the Wave profile from Saville Consulting. This is a very robust and validated product from a company I’ve been working with for the last five years. You don’t need to understand anything about psychometrics or the product in order to use my services
I have nearly 20 years experience in using psychometrics for recruitment projects. I am trained and qualified to British Psychological Society level A&B.
Adding credibility to your recruitment process
What it costs?
I offer a service which is charged ‘per candidate’ at £250 + VAT. For most recruitment campaigns you’ll only be assessing the final shortlisted candidates (perhaps two or three individuals) so the cost per assignment is good value. Additionally, as I work on a project basis there is no retainer fee.
How do we get started?
The quick, easy and personal service I offer means that in most circumstances your candidate(s) can be completing the assessment within a few hours of you giving me the instruction to proceed.
All you need to do is share the candidate’s contact details and I take control of everything else.
What’s the process?
The service I offer includes setting up the test for your candidates (whether you are managing the hiring process yourself or via a third party agency), reviewing and assessing the results, giving verbal feedback with a written report to you and to the candidate. The feedback is very comprehensive, tailored to your needs and those of the recruitment campaign you are undertaking. The candidate completes the assessment online.
I have worked with many organisations to help them make the right hiring decision; giving feedback on the candidate which may back up what they have seen in early stage interviews and providing areas for further probing at the next stage of interviews.
We also have a new service offering called Smarter Assessment Services which is a mix of psychometrics and competency based interviewing for recruitment campaigns.
