I thought one good use for my blog might be to share some of the resources that I find really useful and/or interesting.
The one I’ll share today is the Ask the Headhunter weekly newsletter. This is a resource from Nick Corcodilos at http://www.asktheheadhunter.com. His site is targeted at the USA and is for job seekers and corporate recruiters. Don’t let this put you off, he produces some really interesting stuff. The other thing that might put you off is his rather confusing site layout. He’s got so much to share that you don’t know where to start. He’s got some interesting articles but the best thing is his weekly email newsletter. Unbelievably he doesn’t archive this online so the only way to get it is to sign up. Sadly his copyright rules prohibit me from publishing the content here which is a shame as he’s done two really interesting newsletters recently – one abount counter offers and one about job seekers cutting out HR and going direct to the line manager. I’m not allowed to re-distribute his newsletter but I think (and I’m sure his lawyers will correct me if I’m wrong!) I am allowed to forward them on if someone asks me (so if you want to see these two drop me a note at contact2@ukrecruiter.co.uk).
