We had a really great networking event last Thursday. We used a bar near Farringdon (with a really helpful manager and staff and a very courteous bouncer!) which has separate space for the presentations (sorry to those of you who found the room a little warm – we’ll be making a few changes before the next event). We also had a really good number of attendees (over 160 people according to Hannah who "worked the door" along with the Broadbean girls and Gemma from The Guardian). So, thank you to everyone who came along.
The speakers were great and I think everyone appreciated the free drinks provided by our sponsors Chameleon-i and CV-Library. In fact I know how well the drinks were appreciated by the number of people who asked me if they could have more free drink tokens!
After much scurrying around (mostly trying to look like I was organising things) I did manage a bit of networking time myself. It was great to catch up with regulars as well as put faces to some names and meet brand new contacts.

However, the hangover has barely left and we are already in the process of planning the next event. The date is going to be 31st January and we hope to use the same Farringdon bar (details will be confirmed closer to the time). We haven’t confirmed the speakers or sponsors yet – so if you are interested in either opportunity drop me a note.
