A couple of week's ago I attended the launch of Ann Swain and Jane Newell-Brown's recruitment handbook (The Professional Recruiter's Handbook: Delivering Excellence in Recruitment Practice). I had planned to blog about how fab the launch party was (which it was; lovely canapés!) and link to some photos and content from Broadbean, however, I can't seem to get access to the photos (and I'm sure there were some great ones of me!). So instead I'll content myself with saying that Ann and Jane are truly experts in the field of recruitment and what I have read of the book so far (which is quite a lot considering I'm not even a recruiter anymore) it's a great book which any professional recruiter should invest in. One of the things I especially liked were the case studies (and not just because I provided one of them!) which break up the chapters very nicely.
Any chance of a discount for UK Recruiter-ers?
