Agency Central produce an Employment Index which gathers data from a range of employment sources.
His index is based on statistics, (specifically relating to the Recruitment Agency Marketplace), compiled from the companies using the website and tracks the employment market activity across a variety of variables.

Good news indeed! These figures are wholly reflective of both the caliber and skills within the UK freelance and contractor marketplace. A skilled, flexible and fluid workforce is the key to bringing the UK out of recession. This is a critical weapon in the armory of any business; enabling employers to plan and implement rapid, tactical business strategy as market forces dictate.
