At our recruitment technology event on the 24th May Alan Whitford (major technology strategist) will be hosting a couple of small group sessions to discuss “The Future of Recruitment”. Big subject I know! Alan, with help from some of our technology companies presenting on the day, will be talking about such subjects as how you can ensure your technology choice today does not inhibit your future unknown plans,
technology trends hitting the recruitment market and some of the fundamental mistakes of today affecting the future of recruitment.
Alan’s panel experts will include Peter Linas from Bullhorn, David Henry from Monster, Paul Higgins from KeyApps, Guy Rubin from ebsta (formally Drag&Tag) and Ciara Lucy from iMeet. All of these companies have new and innovative products in the market. However, the q&a session will involve no pitching whatsoever; it’ll just be open debate with input from you, the audience.
If you want to come along to the technology event on the 24th you need to register in advance (the event is free but we do take a deposit). We’ll have speed pitching sessions from CRMS, presentations from technology providers, social media learning sessions and lots of time to network and chat with our sponsors.

Technology is advancing within the recruitment market very fast but sometimes it is good to go back to basics and engage the candidates and discuss the clients needs more often. We are in the early process of developing a new job portal for employers and recruiters to post for free http://www.JustUKJobs.co.uk and
http://www.FindApprenticeships.co.uk the two sites are up and running and we are about to start the next stpes in developing these sites and adding more content to give the jobseeker s more information to help in their job hunt.
