I’ve just come across this new event for recruitment and HR professionals; Hiring Unicorns.
It’s a great title (but terrible website!) and whilst they are stepping into a crowded events space there isn’t anything quite like this at the moment. Some really great companies run events for recruiters (that’s us!!) and for HR professionals (including The FIRM, RecConverse and the HR ThinkTank Series) but an evening event which brings together both HR and recruitment agencies and “the industry’s most influential world class speakers & thought leaders for all encompassing discussions on human talent management at a very high strategic level” ought to be pretty impressive. The evenings are organised from outside the recruitment/HR industry by an events organisation and they plan to run them every 2 months for c300 attendees. This first one on 29th May runs from 6pm to 10pm in central London and is currently £20.40 (early bird price) for two to attend.
Hopefully we’ll be popping along to see how it pans out.
