September has been a very busy month for recruitment events and things continue into October and November. As with previous posts I’m going to try and share an overview of the main events so you can work out which ones might best suit your needs:
10th October
This Reconverse event, entitled The Importance of Employer Brand, will look at 5 key aspects of building and maintaining a world class employer brand.
15th October
During the evening The Recruitment Society are hosting an event on the subject of Recruiting better Boards, looking at the importance of Non-Executive Directors
17th October
A UK Recruiter Directors Only Event on the subject of Growing your recruitment business. Runs in the afternoon in central London and ideal for anyone running or managing a recruitment business.
18th October
Firmly established as the largest conference in the recruitment profession, this is a market-specific, content-rich and enlightening day for recruitment professionals, offering tailored breakout streams at Executive, Management and Consultant level. The APSCo Annual Conference is a must attend event for many.
4th and 5th November
The European Executive Search Congress builds on the success of the World Executive Search Congress which, in its first 2 years, attracted hundreds of delegates from more than 30 countries to Las Vegas. This two day event is designed for in-house executive search teams, buyers of search services, partners, consultants and researchers.
12th November
UK Recruiter’s big event of the year is The Recruitment Conference. This is an event for everyone within the recruitment industry, bringing together the UK’s leading recruitment experts to cover a multitude of topics relevant to our sector; sales, technology, client development, candidate management, social media, standards and reputation.
The bonus is that during the evening the National Online Recruitment Awards takes place. It’s a lovely social event celebrating the best of online recruitment.
14th November
This Reconverse event, entitled The Future of Recruitment Technology will give in-house delegates a short list of hand selected recruitment technology companies that are tried and tested, plus a chance to debate and share war stories in our round table discussion. will look at 5 key aspects of building and maintaining a world class employer brand.
22nd November
APSCo’s Annual Charity Ball is one of those events which is much anticipated and talked about. You’ll have to wait till a bit nearer the time for the full details but keep watching their events page for updates.
