I’m pretty sure you already know Katharine Robinson. She is the queen of all things sourcing and will be talking about “Sourcing in 2013: How the tools have changed” at The Recruitment Conference in November.
We’ve been able to Google for CVs and lists of names for decades now, but the amount of people information on the web is growing all the time at an ever increasing rate. If you want to know how search tools and techniques are developing to help you find more relevant and different candidates then this session is for you. Katharine will probably look at Facebook’s new Graph Search, some people aggregator tools, the potential of visual sourcing techniques and important changes to the platforms we already use like Google, LinkedIn and Twitter. Katharine started out in the recruitment industry as a researcher with an Executive Search firm and has since worked in numerous In-house recruitment teams too. She has been working as a freelance consultant since the end of 2009, won the coveted title of Grand Master Sourcer at the SourceCon conference in San Diego in March 2010 and this year organised the first Discover Sourcing conference.
