As I mentioned in a previous post the Enhance Media “year ahead” conference takes place on 30th January. That’s just over a week away and so I’ve been taking a look at the agenda to see what I most want to catch.
The content includes:
* Dee Dee Doke of The Recruiter talking about Navigating the recruitment landscape in 2014
* Alex Lowe of Google talking about Recruitment: Reboot and Reframe
* Hannah Salter of BT on Attracting the Perfect Graduate in 2014
* Giles Guest of Enhance Media sharing Strategy and Big Data
* Christer Hollerman of Glassdoor talking about how Social Media is Changing the Way Job Seekers Make Decisions
* Katrina Hutchinson-O’Neil of Royal Bank of Scotland sharing An In-House Recruiter’s Perspective
* Kate Pollard and Sarah Rosario from KPMG on Using Gamification to Engage with Candidates
* Daniel Richard of Sonru talking about Video Interviewing in 2014
It’s a nice mix of topics from the world of online recruitment. Whilst I know of most of the speakers many of them I’ve never heard present before; I do like a bit of stats so will be watching out for Giles’s presentation.
Additionally this year they have added some one hour workshops sitting alongside the main agenda which cover:
* Improve your Job Board Ads
* Tips and Ticks to get free traffic from YouTube
* Putting the Face back into interface
* A new approach to youth recruitment
* Mobile recruitment in action
* Using brand reputation to attract talent to your business
* Tea and cake with Google – a fireside chat
* Supercharge your LinkedIn success
Obviously I’ll be attending the cake session with Google but I don’t want to miss the main speakers so will probably have to forego the other workshops.
I will be tweeting from the event using @louisetriance (& the hashtag #EMConf2014) and I will be writing a review of the conference for here after.
If you are attending the event as well please feel free to comment on which areas are of most interest to you. If you’ve not yet signed up you can still buy tickets and if you use the code TYA010 – which is a 10% discount on the full price you can get a 10% discount.
