Have you spotted The Recruiter Link (TRL) yet? It’s a platform that enables and promotes international & specialist collaboration in recruitment.
It’s aimed at SME and independent agency recruiters who are open to collaboration. The site is “invitation only” as all members are vetted (meaning you have to apply to be a member rather than just join).
It’s not just a fee splitting platform, although job sharing and “hot candidate” sharing are part of it – it’s also about a broader collaboration of sharing “operational issues” so you can build relationships with partners who have established operations in another country or industry.
The site has over 600 members across 20 countries.
I think the market has changed and recruiters are not so overly protective of their own patch and are more open to collaboration (or coopertition). We see this at our Directors events where business owners and MDs are more comfortable sharing their own success and failures stories to their peers for the purposes of mutal growth.
