This week in our LiveChat RecruiterZone series we had a fabulous one on one chat with Billy McDiarmid (Marketing & Communications Director at HR Consultancy), my co-host Stephen O’Donnell grilled him to find out the ways in which (boring old) email can be used to engage/re-engage with candidates.
We talked about why the humble email still gives the best return on investment of any digital channel in recruitment – paid or otherwise. We discussed ways of speeding up the process and getting best return in the shortest period of time using tools such as Hello Talent, Dux Soup, Candidate.ID, Blockspring and Zapier. We also discussed how you can reactive old candidates using a variety of re-marketing techniques. Two other sites that were mentioned are Hunter and Typeform.
