Staffing agencies are struggling on two fronts to attract talent. First to attract candidates and second to attract new staff. Traditionally seen as 2 separate audiences with separate engagement tactics, but the landscape has changed. You now need a smart strategy that can treat jobseekers and potential staff in similar ways, with similar content and similar ways to engage with your business.
This is the replay from a live chat I had with James Whitelock of ThinkinCircles. Some of the questions I asked him include:
- Do you have a magnetic employer brand strategy that people are attracted to?
- Do you already employ the top thought leaders in your industry that will attract junior talent to your company?
- Are you doing everything possible to cultivate a company culture where people feel respected and that they are valued members of your team?
- Do you share your employer value proposition with the candidates?
- What do we want this creative content to convey about us? Does the idea do the job effectively? Are we telling a story?
- Is there anything on this creative that will encourage candidates to deselect themselves if they’re not right for the role?
- Is the call-to-action clear and does the candidate have more than one way to apply?
- Are you being authentic?
