September is shaping up to be awards month for the recruitment industry, with four major events taking place in just three weeks.
The Global Recruiter UK Industry Awards take place on 9 September, followed by the Onrec Awards on 16 September, the Recruiter Awards on 22 September and The Contracting Awards on 30 September. Louise will be representing UK Recruiter at The Global Recruiter Awards and The Contracting Awards, so do come and say hello if you’ll be there.
The finalist lists offer a useful snapshot of where good work is being recognised across recruitment: the businesses growing, the teams trying something different and the individuals making a genuine impact.
But awards are never a complete measure of everything happening across the industry. Plenty of excellent recruiters, suppliers and teams won’t have entered and will be doing valuable work that doesn’t fit neatly into an awards category! September feels like a good time to celebrate what the recruitment industry is achieving.
