Natasha Allen specialises in e-business with a portfolio ranging from WordPress sites for sole traders to project managing and leading digital marketing in financial services, founding e-recruitment solutions and implementing intranet solutions for public organisations.
She has recently written a book called Online Recruitment: A New World. This is a culmination of over 7 years personal experience and many more from contributors. Pulling on industry experience, academic research and digital solutions to provide, not just a guide, but a discussion into the future of Online Recruitment.
As it says on the back of the book “It all started over a coffee in London, when Matt Alder and Natasha Allden found themselves agreeing on the gap that has kept online recruitment as an after-thought not a fore-thought for too long. Online Recruitment: A New World, bring the worlds of academia, business and real-world experience together. Natasha takes us through a three-step journey from the philosophies behind online recruitment to delivering effective online recruitment in your business. Part one reviews the philosophy of a positive candidate experience that turns, what appear to be, problems into opportunities. Part two; the ecosystem mindset, introduces networks in context of a now global, multi-device world. Part three talks through the implementation of a Private Talent Network and casts an eye over the future of online recruitment.”
The book is for both agency and company-side recruiters, managers and business owners. However, I would say that the company-side recruiters will find more they can take from the book as it’s about more than just placing candidates.
I’d certainly recommend you check it out on Amazon (either in paperback or ebook version).
