Why YOU need to attend the technology showcase on 16 June

We’ve been running Recruitment Technology Showcase events for a number of years now.  However, if you’ve not been before you’re going to want to know why you should give up a day of your time to join us.   The event is on the 16 June in central London and this is all you need to know:

What is the recruitment technology showcase event? Essentially  we pull together a comprehensive line up of the best recruitment technology companies in the UK and invite you to spend the day with them and our technology experts.  This ensures you stay ahead of the game and learn more about new technologies to help you recruit more efficiently than your competitors.

What does it actually look like? We had a montage video made of last October’s event so you can see what if feels like to attend. You may notice we spend quite a lot of time at the buffet (and later beer) table.  We’ve got photos here too from last October’s event.

Who will I meet?  20 recruitment technology companies, 7 recruitment technology experts, me and about 100 other recruiters all trying to understand how to best use technology in their business. Plus we have a great keynote and are exceptionally lucky to have Matt Buckland joining us for the wrap up session in the afternoon.

What new thing will I learn? I suppose this depends on what you are after.  You may find a new product or service to take into your business, a more creative or cost effective way to use technology and/or some new skills from our expert led workshops (more on that to come).

Anything new at this one? We actually introduced this last October – but it worked so well we are doing it again -each of our onsite experts are offering free 20 minute consultations; available on a first come first served basis. When you book your ticket for the event you can select the expert you wish to have the consultation with or the topic you wish to discuss (and we’ll allocate the most appropriate expert).  Topics include social media, website development, using LinkedIn, understanding mobile and sourcing.

What value add do I get? What, you want even more?  We are working with The Headshot Guy to give every attendee access to a free profile photo they can use on LinkedIn, Twitter etc.  No need to book but do get in early as I’m sure he will be busy all day.

How will it help me stay cutting edge? You’ll be updated on an excellent range of the latest technology in one day, and thanks to our completely unique and fun format, you’ll leave feeling excited by the subject, and overflowing with ideas on how to talk with next and how to implement new ideas.  You can also find out what your competitors are doing and be inspired by new developments.

What about the beers?  Don’t worry – there will be beers for everyone during the closing session.  There’s a buffet lunch included too and a prize draw for a fancy meal for two and champagne!
