Just got a press release through from the REC announcing that Marcia Roberts has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive.
Richard Barfield, Chairman of REC, said: "After due process, the Board knew that it need look no further to find the person who can take REC to the next level of its development. Marcia has been with REC for over five years, firstly as Director of External Relations, where she revolutionised the industry’s reputation with Government. For the last three years Marcia has been the Deputy CEO where she has done an outstanding job. "
That’s great news for Marcia and the REC.
I bet they are also pleased that an internal appointment has saved them paying out a large recruitment agency fee!
Yep, and they can carry on as before!!
