This week’s google+ hangout was a The Marketing and Advertising Recruitment Awards special. Joining our host, Alan Whitford, on the #Rechangout were be owners and directors from recruitment businesses who lead in the marketing space and who have been nominated as finalists in the MARAs. We discussed the potentially controversial question, ‘Should every recruitment business be a digital marketing agency?‘
The #Rechangout is broadcast live via Google+ Hangouts on Air every other Wednesday at 1pm (British Summer Time) and is supported by Louis Welcomme from Colleague Software.
Our guests for this one were:
– Rob Forsyth, Owner of Ascent Solutions, nominated for ‘Best Candidate Experience’
– Steve Ward, Owner of CloudNine Social Media & Digital Talent, nominated for ‘Best Candidate Experience’, ‘Best Niche Agency’, ‘Recruitment Innovation’, ‘Best Social Media Strategy’ and ‘Best Recruitment Video’
– James Eppinger, Founder of Connect Digital Group, nominated for ‘Best Client Service’ and ‘Best Niche Agency’
– Simon Lewis, Co-founder Edge Global Media Group and OnlyMarketingJobs.com and MARA host.
It was a nice lively debate with lots of soundbites shared on twitter. You can (and should) watch the hangout here:
