They are coming thick and fast (well not really). After my mentions (here and here) of recruiter branding I have been sent a frisbee by Lee at CV-Library. Because the photo here is so small unless you have supersonic eyesight you won’t be able to see that it says "CV-Library would like to throw you a free trial".
It must be quite difficult for a job board or CV database to find relevant "goodies". If you give your company a daft name (please forgive me for this Dan) like Broadbean the branding opportunities are more obvious. Maybe CV-Library could send out mouse mats shaped like a bookcase or have business cards in the shape of a stern librarians specs (you can see why I’ve not got a career in marketing).
Anyway, I like the frisbee. It’s clearly branded, serves a useful purpose and isn’t so large that it can’t fit on your desk. My only comment is I hope no one makes inappropriate indoor use of it – decapitating a colleague perhaps – and sues CV-Library.
