I read a lot of blogs. Sometimes I’m reading blogs when I should be writing blog posts. However, if I could only read one blog I’d probablyl choose Brazen Careerist by Penelope Trunk. It’s not a recruitment blog and she isn’t a UK blogger, but I personally get a lot of value from her writings.
She writes about "the intersection of work and life". Some of her posts are about managing your career, some are about becoming a better manager/subordinate/colleague and many are about taking lessons from your personal life (or more accurately her personal life) and applying them to your work life.
She is very engaging, she has a superb writing style and the fact that she is so far-from-perfect makes taking lessons from her more appealing.
So, nothing to do with UK Recruitment this one – but add it to your bookmarks!
