Did you catch their brand campaign at the start of the year which included some TV and radio advertising? Well, it was obviously rather successful as they have increased their database of candidates from 100,000 at the start of 2011 to nearly 600,000 now.
They sell their product on the basis of having the “largest pool of qualified professional talent earning £50,000+ in the UK”. Each CV is manually screened (now that sounds like a tedious job if you don’t mind me saying) before being “approved” onto their database.

Not to be pedantic, but company names are singular. You can’t say increased ‘their’ database because you are referring to a single company ‘The Ladders’. It should say ‘its’ instead of their (unless you said ‘staff members at The Ladders).
