Why candidate control isn’t like the rubiks cube

Whist writing a late night blog post about  “managing candidates” I had a random thought about rubiks cubes..

Recruitment is an art not a science. With Candidates you can’t just tick the boxes and make a successful placement. One of things you learn early on as a recruiter is about the disappointment that dealing with sentient beings can bring.

If you want to fit a candidate into a role you can’t just follow a step by step guide (and you most certainly can’t take them apart and pop them back together to suit you!!)
