Recruitment and HR events roundup for September & October 2013

I do a monthly round up of recruitment and HR events for TIRA which I normally share here after they’ve published it.  However, this month I seem to have lost track of the time!  So here is half of September and into October..

25^th September
From RIDA group; Social Media for Recruitment with Andy Headworth as the speaker. 

26^th September
A full day recruitment technology learning and showcase event for recruiters run by UK Recruiter and TheJobPost.  This event consists of a conference in the morning and a showcase/workshop filled afternoon.  These are totally free events for recruitment owners and directors. It’s one of our own so I’d definitely recommend you attend!

1^st October
The Onrec Conference and Exhibition is now in it’s 9^th year and will cover  the impact of the economy on the UK recruitment industry, how to manage your employer brand, make full use of social media to communicate with candidates and the latest online recruitment industry thinking.

2^nd & 3^rd October
After the success of their London event in February The Recruitment Agency Expo are hoping to achieve the same good turnout for their Birmingham event.  It’s a mixture of expo and seminars spread over two days.

10^th October
This Reconverse event, entitled The Importance of Employer Brand, will look at 5 key aspects of building and maintaining a world class employer brand.

15^th October
During the evening The Recruitment Society are hosting an event on the subject of Recruiting better Boards, looking at the importance of Non-Executive Directors

17^th October
A UK Recruiter Directors Only Event on the subject of Growing your recruitment business.  Runs in the afternoon in central London and ideal for anyone running or managing a recruitment business.

18^th October
Firmly established as the largest conference in the recruitment profession, this is a market-specific, content-rich and enlightening day for recruitment professionals, offering tailored breakout streams at Executive, Management and Consultant level. The APSCo Annual Conference is a must attend event for many.
