I blogged about the Magnificent Seven recruitment technology experts we have at our June 5th Technology Showcase event. I’m doing a mini profile of each of them in the run up to the event (so far we’ve had Lisa Jones, Alex Charraudeau, James Whitelock and Martin Lee). Next up is Alan Whitford.
Over the last 15 years, Alan has been one of the leaders in the UK and Europe providing strategic and practical insights to defining, selecting and implementing technology solutions for Human Resource and Recruitment Process activities. He works with corporate recruitment and talent management teams as well as recruitment agencies and RPO businesses and is a strategy consultant for recruitment challenges, talent acquisition, candidate experience, employment brand, recruitment and social media.
To be honest there isn’t much Alan doesn’t know about and at our June event he is taking on the role of Master of Ceremonies. He’ll run the session where all exhibitor’s give brief elevator pitches on their offerings as well as being on hand to answer questions about nearly any technology problem you could have! He’ll also hosting a workshop session with the title “Are you getting any value from your candidate database – or have you been wasting your money?”. If he makes it through all that he will run the end of session debate with Lisa Jones.
Ahead of the event you can connect with Alan in any of the following ways:
