R-Track Product Review

Last week I blogged about Compliance and timesheet issues? There’s an app for that! I had some great responses to the survey and a number of people emailed me asking for more information on the R-Track product. I’d already decided I’d write a review of the product and here it is:

rtrack2So in a nutshell what is R-Track?

It’s a revolutionary facial biometrics App, utilising a cloud-based platform, which allows you to manage your entire workforce on all work sites in real time from any location in the world through GPS.

Bit more detail…?

The system authenticates the user, manages compliance and records the time, date and location in real time through GPS for secure authentication and tracking of personnel attendance at one or more designated locations across the globe.

The system is set up to automate time keeping, payroll and invoicing to clients if required ensuring maximum efficiency of the work force, much reduced timesheet issues, as well as ensuring that all compliance is reached ahead of attendance.

Who designed it?

BioTech Designs UK; a technology company that has utilised the ideas from Entrepreneur Ashley Alinia who has vast experience in recruitment, and the built environment, both as an end client and a supplier.

BioTech Designs offer a one stop automated solution for access control, location checking, time sheets and a managed compliance solution.

Why is it great?

As it is an app it’s totally mobile.
It can be customised to suit any business model or industry
Gives recruiter’s the ability to offer a better service to their clients in regards to time sheets, checking of certification and eradicating time sheet and payment disputes.
Tailored certification checking means you can meet compliance in any industry
Automated payroll and billing function
Keeps track of costs and profits, in real time with system reporting capabilities which enables accurate forecasting.

rtrackHow does it work?

Your contractor, depending on the site and requirement is clocked in via a range of biometrics; could be face, iris, finger, vein or a combination (apparently iris recognition is the most secure form of biometrics available). Details can also be recorded from site-issued cards. This “clock in” triggers automated time sheets functions and a certification check. When they leave the office/site the clock out the via the app. It’s that simple.

They are only just hitting the market but recognition of the apps unique ability it has been picked up by the innovative technology awards where they hope to be receiving an award for the most innovative hr solution.

Honestly so many people get in touch with an innovative product. However, this really is something that I can could add real value to the recruiter and their clients and remove a number of time consuming and complex problems at once.

If you want more information get in touch with BioTech Designs directly via their website or by getting in touch with James Newman who is Group Technical Manager.  He’s on 07971 493137 or jn@rtguk.co.uk or the office number is 0203 7058005.  I’m looking forward to seeing more from these guys and this interesting product as they formally launch into the market.

I’ll do doing a final blog post next week giving feedback on the timesheet survey I’m running; still time to share your own timesheet worries
