I recently wrote about timesheet and compliance issues and then reviewed the new R-Track product (great feedback on it so far by the way). I did a mini survey into what recruiter’s worry about with timesheets and here are the results. These are the top “pain points”
1. The process not being automated.
2. Inaccuracies by temps/contractors
3. Clients not authorising them on time
4. Getting contractors/temps to submit them on time
5. No real-time data for tracking hours worked
6. The admin in the process takes too long
7. The potential for the recruiter to make mistakes in processing
Two interesting additional points came out of the survey.
Firstly only a very low number of respondents were concerned about an automated process being open to mistakes – I guess we do trust the computers now! Secondly a number felt that having a beter timesheet/compliance process would help them give clients an added value service in a tough marketplace. This could be especially true of the R Track product with its revolutionary facial biometrics App.
