A candidate was relocating from the UK to Russia to join a client in Moscow back in the day. The experienced removal men arrival and noticed 2 pet parrots – Russia doesn’t allow importation of exotic birds. Cue deal breaker ! Candidate was going to turn down the accepted job offer. A tense few hours while I worked with the client to find a safe and legal way to import them and sure enough 4 days later the birds were in the candidates new Moscow flat.
