We enjoyed Recruitment Live 2014 so much that we are back for this year’s event on the 3rd and 4th November. We will be running a session entitled Unconventional Sourcing for Hard to Find Talent with the very talented Laura Stoker from AIRS. It takes place in the afternoon of day one and will cover best sourcing practices for using multi-media sites, image sharing sites, video sites and more. The presentation will give attendees some unconventional ideas for sourcing hard to find candidates that may not be found on traditional social media sites.
All the sessions over the two days look great but I’m also looking forward to The changing face of recruitment advertising – hosted by Broadbean and Making social media work for your recruitment agency – hosted by TEAM. The recruitment advertising session is hosted by Dan Martin of Broadbean and I know he’ll do a great job of analysing the trends in candidate attraction and providing a data driven summary of what the future looks like as we move into a more fragmented and disparate period in recruitment. The TEAM session looks to be good as it’s hosted by the enthusiastic Julia Doherty of Green Umbrella. It’s important for a recruitment business owner to have a specific social plan to grow your audience, promote your best content and measure the impact and this mini workshop looks at how you can harness the power of social media to attract clients and candidates.
As well as the learning sessions the event is a great opportunity to meet and network with the primary recruitment industry suppliers over two days. Hope to see you there!
