In our UK Recruitment Blog of the Year Awards 2015 the winner of the Individual Agency Recruiter Blogger was the Fast Track blog written by Mitch Sullivan. This week I bumped into Mitch at a conference and took the opportunity to hand over his trophy. Mitch is a recruiter with over 25 years industry experience. He writes about whatever the hell he likes, is massively opinionated but often hits the nail on the head.
This category Sponsor was James Wylie, Managing Director of Sketch who sadly couldn’t hand over the trophy himself (but I’m hopeful will get time with Mitch at some point). After the judging James said: It was great to see so many well written blogs of various topics, shapes and sizes. The ones that stood out for me struck the right balance between being fun and informative, and didn’t get caught up trying to be too corporate.

I’ve known Mitch for 20 years and during that time have often wanted to punch him in the face, I’ve just as often laughed out loud as his superb sense of humour and writing style. On balance he’s an ok guy who writes a great blog.
