This week we had an excellent RecruiterZone Live Show where my regular co-host Stephen O’Donnell and I were joined by Gail Sampson (Talent Manager at McLaren Automotive) and Mark Hopkins (Engineering/Technical & Sales recruitment professional). During the show we chatted about the concept of the PSL (preferred supplier list) and why it can be a barrier to the right candidate getting the job. Also, why some agencies see it as a “red rag to a bull” and make it their life’s work to find a way around it!
