In our eleventh year of running these awards we are going to shake things up! This year we are going to showcasing content from the UK recruitment industry across many platforms. From traditional blogs to LinkedIn articles, via Podcasts and Livechat and everything in between. As always we welcome in house and agency recruiters, suppliers to the industry, one man bands, bloggers writing for their organisation, and bloggers just writing for the sake of their sanity….
Nominations are now open and the categories are:
In House Recruitment
Brilliant businesses use all methods to engage with potential talent. This is a real chance to see who is leading the pack within the realms of blogging. We are looking to see a successful mix posts from a variety of individuals to help attract and potentially on board jobseekers. We are looking for the best content in the HR recruitment space.
Staffing Industry/Agency
This award recognises a diverse range of content from many individuals within a recruitment consultancy which has been brought together in a cohesive blog used to establish relationships with clients as well as jobseekers. It also includes recruiters, either from a small firm or within larger agencies, sharing their everyday experiences with their clients and candidates in any format (ie, LinkedIn).
Industry Supplier
This is where the awards started, before individual agencies or recruiters were blogging all there was were blogs from recruitment technology experts sharing their knowledge. This category is the most difficult to judge with a vast range of possible entrants.
Influencer
We’re looking at individuals who use blogging to position themselves as experts or “thought leaders” within recruitment and HR.
Content Curator
This category will include news sources as well as individuals who gather up all that’s great within the recruitment space and share it in a curated manner.
Nominations will close on Friday 23rd November. There is no need to nominate or ‘vote’ for a site more than once. All blogs which meet the criteria for nomination (see below) will be considered.
Then it’s on to the judging and we plan to publish details of the finalists mid December and the winners in early January. So please nominate now! PS, if you want to know who won last year check out my 2017 awards blog post.
The criteria for nominations are:
i) the content has to fit into one of the categories above.
ii) the content provider has to have posted something on their blog in the past month (ie, since 18 September 2018)
ii) The content has been around for at least six months (ie, established after 1st June)
iii) The content author/s has to be GB/Ireland based.
