We’ve got our tech event on 17th November (check out all the info and sign up here). There’s a great lineup of tech providers joining us. Our agenda starts with them all doing 2 minute speed pitches. Live on our platform and on LinkedIn. Looking forward to that.
Then attendees can pick from thirty two fabulous 25 minute sessions which run from 9.45am to 4.30pm; and they’ll all be running demos throughout the day for anyone who wants one.
However, what happens if you want to just chat with other attendees or ask an informal question to one of the tech providers? Join us in the breakout room, you’ll need the password which we will send to you when you register for the event. Scroll down for full instructions.
Online Town is a video-calling experience that lets multiple people hold separate conversations in parallel and lets you walk in, out and around those conversations just as easily as you would in real life. It’s also fun.

- Tick the green Yes tick to enter the room
- If your browser asks to use your microphone and camera click “allow”
- Below the graphic of the breakout room there will be a coloured oblong which says “enter name here” – ideally enter your name and company .
- Your name should then appear to the right of the breakout room graphic saying “Near”
- Use your arrow keys to move around
- You only see and hear people when you move next to them (and if you can’t check if your webcam is connected)
- You can block users by hovering your mouse over their video
- There is a chat box to the left
