Technology Experts at our June Showcase event; Stephen O’Donnell

I blogged about the Magnificent Seven (which has actually now become eight!) recruitment technology experts we have at our June 5th Technology Showcase event.  I’m doing a mini profile of each of them in the run up to the event (so far we’ve had Lisa Jones, Alex Charraudeau, James Whitelock, Martin Lee, Alan Whitford,  Raymond Pennie  and Shane McCusker.  Next up is Stephen O’Donnell:

Stephen has been actively involved in the professional recruitment sector since 1987, owning and running recruitment agencies since 1993. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals.

As well as being around to answer your questions he is hosting a workshop session with the title “What do candidates expect from a professional recruitment website and application process?”

His current expertise is in online recruitment, where, in 2000, he established the UK’s first comprehensive online portal to every recruitment resource, including recruitment agencies, employers, consultants, job-board and publications – www.alljobsUK.com. Stephen also devised, and has continued to run the National Online Recruitment Awards (NORAs) since 2001. Stephen has newly founded PC Evaluate Ltd, which delivers online psychometric assessments to recruiters and employers in the UK.

A well-known networker and prolific writer, you will often see Stephen’s articles in recruitment trade magazines, blogs, and his own personal blog.
