Just one more week left to nominate a site for the UK Recruitment Blog Awards 2014. Come Monday 8th December we’ll start creating a finalists list and then onto the judging stage. We have a great team of judges for the awards, and their role is to select up to a dozen finalists per category and then to choose the winner of the Recruitment Blog of the Year 2014 award.

Simon Kent
Simon is the editor of The Global Recruiter magazine and website. His career in journalism started within the careers section of The Guardian before branching out into covering more specialised areas of personnel management including training, employment law and recruitment. He has contributed to many trade and an professional magazines as well as working with many leading companies on White Papers and research topics. He manages The Global Recruiter’s blog as well as sourcing contributions for the website and magazine from around the world.
Alan Whitford
Alan is Operations Director of the Direct Employers Association Europe, the first UK based Trade Association created for hiring organisations with a specific focus on the Talent Acquisition/Resourcing function and the in-house professionals who deliver the recruitment agenda. He is also a strategy consultant for recruitment challenges, talent acquisition, candidate experience, employment brand, recruitment and social Media. His projects have ensured success for corporate recruitment and talent management teams as well as recruitment agencies and RPO businesses.
Felix Wetzel
Felix is a highly influential, commercial, creative, future focused executive with over 20 years’ experience within the digital recruitment and digital media sector. He spent 12 years with Jobsite, joining as Head of Marketing in its initial start-up phase and leaving in a board role as Group Marketing Director. He is now undertaking a number of advisory roles.
Roderick Smyth
Roderick has started several successful businesses and adapted his skills from software developer/consultant to business leader over the past 17 years. He is CEO of Tempbuddy is a disruptive platform for the management of contingent agency staff. Tempbuddy is sponsor of the awards.
Katrina Fox
Katrina is an Employer Brand / Marketing / Comms / candidate experience specialist with 19 years’ experience spanning media, agency and client sides. She has worked predominantly in recruitment marketing on multi-channel campaigns for clients such as PepsiCo, Orange, Sainsbury’s, B&Q, DHL, PwC, DRKW with a brief spell in product marcoms.
Stephen O’Donnell
Founder of PC Evaluate, AlljobsUK.com, and the National Online Recruitment Awards. Stephen has been a professional recruiter for the last 24 years, and has owned and run successful recruitment companies since 1993. PC Evaluate provides personality profiling services to employers throughout the UK.

Nominations will close on Friday 5th December. There is no need to nominate or ‘vote’ for a site more than once. All blogs which meet the criteria for nomination (see here) will be considered.
